Evelyn set down the pear and let her take whatever she wanted. She didn't mention it.

"I won't hold back!" Isabella replied. Then she told Evelyn not to touch cold water, not to get tired, to rest more, and to eat more.

Evelyn nodded and agreed. Whatever her sister-in-law said, she agreed first.

She wished her sister-in-law happiness.

After a while, Isabella approached Evelyn and asked in a low voice.

"Has anything been wrong at home lately?"

"Yes, a happy event. The baby was born!" Evelyn said with a smile.

Isabella looked at Evelyn and laughed.

"Still playing dumb with me!"

"No, the recent happy event in our family is the baby's birth!" Evelyn continued.

Isabella didn't ask any more questions. She just nodded.

"It really is a happy event for our family!"

Later, Isabella stayed at Sterling Manor for over half an hour. Then she went back to Rose Garden Villa.

She wanted Evelyn to rest more. She didn't want Evelyn to keep her company all the time.

Evelyn said it was fine. Isabella still told her to lie down. She told her not to sit around all the time.

Evelyn could only nod repeatedly in agreement.

After her sister-in-law left, Evelyn went to see the child again. Then she went upstairs to rest.

Victoria was carrying big and small bags. Her mother asked her to bring things to Lily. After she gave them to Lily, she went to see the baby first.

Lily arranged the things and put them away. She went upstairs to tell the young lady that Miss Vance was coming.

As soon as Evelyn heard that her sister was coming, she got up.

She didn't want to lie down. Now she found a reason and an excuse. She just jumped out of bed.

"Sister!" Evelyn went downstairs and saw her sister. She called out in surprise.

"Why aren't you lying down? If Mom finds out, she'll scold you again!" Victoria scolded with a straight face.

"It's boring to lie down all day. Sister, how did you come?" Evelyn said with a smile.

"Mom asked me to bring you something delicious!" Victoria answered.

"What's delicious?" Evelyn asked, smacking her lips.

"Of course, it's a nutritious meal for you!"

"Oh!" Evelyn's face fell.

"Some people don't get to eat, but you're still picky!"

"Sister, you'll know when you're in confinement. A confinement meal is one of the most painful things in the world!"

"Come on, you were born in bliss and don't know your fortune!" Victoria laughed and scolded.

Later, Victoria took Evelyn upstairs to her leisure room.

"What's the matter? Tell me. You're being mysterious!"

"Sister, let me ask you something!" Evelyn hesitated for a moment and answered.

"What is it?" Victoria looked at Evelyn, even more puzzled.

"If I move back home to live, will Mom and Dad be unhappy?" Evelyn asked cautiously.

"You have nothing to move back for. Are you fighting for the property?" Victoria rolled her eyes.

"No!" Evelyn paused. "Sister, I'm going to move home after my confinement!"

"Okay, Alexander won't object if I come back to live for a few days!"

"I don't want to live for a few days. I want to live at home in the future!"

"Are you kidding? Even if Alexander agrees, he won't agree!" Victoria looked at Evelyn in dismay.

"Sister, I want to divorce Alexander!" Evelyn told the truth.

Victoria was stunned for a while. After a long time, she came back to herself. Then she squeezed Evelyn's cheek.

"Did you get stupid in the hospital? Or did you lose too much blood, and even your IQ dropped?"

"Sister—" Evelyn looked at her sister in frustration.

"Why do you suddenly want to divorce Alexander?" Victoria couldn't help laughing. She asked curiously.

She thought Evelyn was full and joking with her.

"We are not suitable for each other!"

"Damn, the child is born, and you say it's not suitable!"

"..."

Victoria saw that Evelyn didn't look like she was joking. She had to take a deep breath and ask.

"Did you tell me that you had a quarrel with Alexander?"

"No!"

"Or did you have some conflict with Alexander?"

"Nothing!"

"Is Alexander still entangled with that woman?"

"No!"

"Nothing, and you're full and want to divorce Alexander! Could it be postpartum depression?" Victoria finally hesitated, looked at Evelyn, and muttered.

Evelyn's face was like a chicken talking to a duck.

Originally, she wanted to seek support from her family. That way, she would have more confidence to divorce Alexander. The breakthrough in the family was her sister Victoria.

Because her sister knew her best and would support her decision.

As a result, after hearing that she wanted to divorce Alexander, her sister looked at her like a monster.

"Well, I was just joking. Now tell me why you suddenly want to divorce Alexander?" Victoria asked in a different tone.

"Not suddenly. I've thought about it for a long time!"

"Thought about it for a long time? Do you mean you planned to divorce Alexander before?"

"I thought about it, but I didn't decide. I decided recently!"

"If you want a divorce, you must have a reason!"

"I'm not suitable for Alexander!"

"What's not suitable? Is the sex life not harmonious? Does he have a tendency to violence? Is there a woman outside? There must be a real reason!"

"Our personalities are not suitable!" Evelyn answered weakly.

"Damn, it's really the universal reason of the universe!" Victoria was speechless.

"Sister, don't you always support my decisions?"

"It depends on what decision it is!"

"Didn't you let me divorce Alexander before?"

"That was before. At that time, I thought there was a woman outside Alexander. So I would divorce him and take half of his property!"

"Before getting married, I signed a prenuptial agreement. Even if I get divorced, I can't get half of Alexander's property!"

"Then I can't get a divorce, unless he cleans himself out of the house! But if you want someone to clean himself out of the house, you have to have a good reason! You can't just sentence someone to death! Besides, now that you have a child, you have to think about the child!" Victoria said.

Evelyn looked at her sister. She didn't nod or shake her head. But she clearly realized that her sister's path was impassable.

"Evelyn, are you listening to me?" Victoria glared at Evelyn.

"Yes, I see." Evelyn answered weakly.

"Don't think wildly. Wait a month. I'll take you out more!" Victoria coaxed.

"Sister, I'm not a child!" Evelyn said helplessly.

She was talking to her sister now, but she felt like her sister thought she was playing.

"I know you're not a child. You're a mother now. You're more advanced than me!" Victoria said with a smile.

"..." Evelyn was completely speechless for a long time.
