Reading without an account

You do not need to register, enter payment details or provide an email address to read. The current version does not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, device fingerprinting or the site's custom reading-event analytics.

Optional storage on your device

If you turn on “Remember reading,” this site saves your last opened chapter, text size and background choice in your browser's local storage. These preferences are not sent to a reading-history database or synchronized to another device. They remain until you turn the setting off, clear them here, or clear your browser storage. With this option off, changes to the reading controls apply to the current page only.

Hosting and technical requests

Cloudflare hosts this website and delivers its files. As part of responding to a web request and protecting its network, the hosting service can process technical information such as IP address, requested URL, time of request and browser information. Its handling of that information is described in the Cloudflare privacy policy. Avoid placing sensitive information in a page URL.

Advertising

Google advertising requests are currently disabled on this version of the site. A publisher-account verification tag identifies the site's AdSense account but does not load the advertising script. If advertising is activated in a future version, this policy and any required consent controls must be updated before those requests begin.
