Chapter 310

"You're wrong, sis. If you don't know what he's busy with, you should care more about him!

If you don't care about him, how can you know what he's busy with!

Sis, relationships need more communication and time together!

How can you build feelings if you never see him face to face?" Evie replied.

"Just focus on yourself and stop being my love advisor!

I've been in love more than you. Go make more friends, don't worry about it!" Victoria waved her hand.

She almost said she'd been in love more than Victoria had been married!

It almost became her catchphrase!

Victoria herself was speechless!

"Nonsense, you've been in love a few times, I don't know!

Sis, anyway, you can't go wrong listening to me!" Evie laughed and scolded.

"I know, I know, go back now! You're so wordy!"

"Then I'll go back!" Evie nodded with a smile.

She went downstairs and headed back with Alexander.

On the way back, thinking about her sister, Evie couldn't help sighing.

"What's wrong?" Alexander looked at her and asked.

"Thinking about my sister. She and her boyfriend seem to be having some issues lately!" Evie replied.

"What kind of issues?"

"I don't know. My sister said her boyfriend is very busy now. It's hard to see him."

"Maybe he's been busy with work lately!"

"Maybe. My sister isn't very clear about it."

"Her boyfriend, and she doesn't know?" Alexander asked.

"Yeah, that's why I think there's a problem! Isn't it strange that my sister doesn't know what her boyfriend is doing?"

"Victoria is very smart. If there's a problem, she should know how to solve it!"

"I'm afraid she'll be smart but confused for a while. After all, people in love are blind!"

"You can't help much with this kind of thing!"

"Well, I can't help much. People really can't help with feelings. I just told her to pay more attention to her boyfriend. That way, even if there's a problem, she can know where the crux is. It's better to give suggestions!" Evie nodded.

"You were right to suggest that to Victoria! She'll know how to handle it!"

"I hope so!" Evie replied.

"Don't worry. There's your father-in-law and mother-in-law, and us. It will be okay!" Alexander comforted Evie.

Evie nodded. Maybe she was overthinking!

She just said her mother worried too much, and she wasn't much different from her mother.

"You don't have to worry about anything now. Just take good care of yourself and your baby. If there's anything to deal with, just leave it to me!"

"I know. I'll take good care of your baby!" Evie muttered.

"And you have to take care of yourself too!"

"Okay!"

"Are you tired from work now?"

"It's okay!"

"If you feel it's hard, we can take a break first, and then go back to work later!"

"That's what my mother said. She also told me not to go to work and to stay at home to focus on the pregnancy. Actually, I'm not that delicate. If I feel tired, I'll say so. I won't force myself!" Evie replied with a smile.

"I'm worried you'll insist on going to work just to keep your job!" Alexander looked at Evie and smiled.

"With you, what kind of job do I need to keep?" Evie said with a mix of tears and laughter. "I haven't planned to quit because I don't think it affects me. If I don't adapt, I'll focus on my baby and won't insist on working!"

"Then I'm relieved. You like to go to work, and it doesn't matter if you continue, as long as you're comfortable with it!"

"Well, I know!" Evie nodded.

Back home, Alexander turned to ask Evie.

"Do you want to see if Mom is asleep? Share this happy news with her!"

"You tell her!" Evie replied with some embarrassment.

"Okay!" Alexander said with a smile.

He got out of the car, walked around to the passenger side, and helped Evie out.

The two walked hand in hand toward the main house.

Chloe came out of Mrs. Sterling's bedroom and greeted them.

"Fourth young master, young lady, good evening!"

"Is my mother asleep?" Alexander asked after nodding.

"No, the old lady hasn't slept very well these past two days. I just gave her a massage. She said she wanted some juice, and I was just about to squeeze it!" Chloe replied. Then she turned and went into the room to report, "Old lady, the fourth young master and the young lady have come to see you!"

"Let them come in and sit down!" Eleanor replied.

"The old lady asks the fourth young master and the young lady to sit in the room. I'll go squeeze the juice first!" Chloe said.

"Go ahead!" Alexander said.

Then he went into his mother's bedroom with Evie.

"Mom—"

"Mom—"

Alexander and Evie called out one after another.

"It's so late, and you haven't rested yet!" Mrs. Sterling asked them to sit down.

"I took Evie out for a walk. We just came back!" Alexander replied at this time.

Evie was about to say they had just come back from her mother's house. When she heard Alexander's words, she turned to look at him and said nothing more.

"It's good to go out for a walk and relax!" Mrs. Sterling nodded.

"Mom, Evie and I came here so late to share some happy news with you!" Alexander said with a smile.

"What happy news?" Mrs. Sterling asked.

"It's what you've been looking forward to, Mom!" Alexander continued.

Mrs. Sterling's eyes brightened. She turned to Evie and asked in surprise.

"Is it Evie?"

Alexander smiled and turned to Evie.

"Evie, you see, I told you this is what Mom has been looking forward to the most!"

Evie blushed even more and replied with embarrassment.

"Yes, the doctor said it's less than two months!"

"Great, great! We have to take care of the baby first!" Mrs. Sterling said with a smile.

Then she asked some questions. After the check-up, did the doctor say what kind of nutrition to supplement and what to pay attention to?

Finally, she still felt uneasy. She planned to have the family doctor come back tomorrow to see what needed attention.

"Mom, you can rest assured. I will take good care of Evie, and Evie will also take good care of herself!

Just wait for your grandchild!" Alexander said with a smile.

"Good, good! It's very late. You go back and rest early. Don't tire out my grandson!" Eleanor urged.

"Mom, you're starting to be biased now!" Alexander joked.

"Of course, I'm going to be biased. Evie and my baby grandson are more important than you now!" Mrs. Sterling glared at Alexander and said with a smile.

"Evie, did you hear that?" Alexander deliberately winked at Evie.

"I heard. Mom loves me and the grandson. I love you. That's how it is!" Evie replied, a little speechless.

"I feel a bit more balanced now!" Alexander nodded.

Evie and Mrs. Sterling looked at each other and couldn't help laughing.

Alexander's childishness sometimes made people laugh and cry!

It really made people laugh and cry.
