"Yes!" Alexander nodded.
"Mom must be furious!" Evie hung her head and mumbled. "How can we tell her something like this!"
She didn't want a baby. She just wanted to wait until after graduation to think about her rebirth.
"How should I tell Mom?" Alexander asked.
"Just say you want one, but you're not pregnant yet," Evie murmured.
Then her face turned bright red.
"You mean your husband can't?" Alexander looked at Evie with a teasing smile.

But she couldn't find the right words.

Alexander watched her lower her head, her ears so red they looked like they might bleed. He finally couldn't bear to tease her anymore.
He pulled her into his arms and said with a smile, "I'm just joking with you! I told Mom that we just got married and wanted to enjoy our time as a couple. We'll wait until I'm thirty before thinking about kids!"
"Did you really say that to your mom?" Evie looked up at him in surprise.
"Yes. Or do you think we should consider having kids now?" Alexander asked.

"You don't like babies?" Alexander smiled and asked softly.
"No, I love babies. But I'd rather wait until after graduation to think about it!" Evie said seriously.
"We don't have to rush. Let's live our own lives first, and then think about the baby. If Mom asks you about this in the future, just tell her I'm not ready yet!" Alexander explained.
"Oh!" Evie replied after a long pause.

She just liked to plan things out calmly rather than rush into them.

"Yes!" Evie nodded.
"You really walk to work every day!" Emily admired.

"Anyway, it's still early, so I'm taking my time!" Emily replied. "Why didn't I see you wearing that white suit?"
"That suit doesn't fit, so I put it away," Evie answered.
She was too embarrassed to say that Alexander thought she looked ugly in that suit and asked her to change it. She never wore it again.
"Why not? Can't you wear white?" Emily asked.
