"Are there a lot of boys chasing you at school?" Alexander Sterling squints at Evelyn Vance and asks.
"Not many, not many, just one or two every now and then!" Evelyn says quickly.
"Evelyn, it looks like when we get home, you need to report your romantic history at school!" Alexander smirks slightly.
"No, I've never been in love!" Evelyn answers immediately.
Alexander glances at Evelyn and says nothing.
She feels depressed for a long time.
Clearly, she has never been in love!
Even though she had a crush before, it ended without even starting.
Then she married Alexander.
She registered the marriage before she even fell in love.
After all, she suffered a lot!
It was totally the type of getting on the bus first and then paying for the ticket!
Oh, wrong, it was the type of getting married first and then falling in love!
She went back to take care of her family and got off the bus.
Evelyn seems to have forgotten the topic Alexander talked to her about in the car.
Right now, holding Alexander's hand, she enjoys the night scene while skipping.
"Alexander, look, the moon is very round today!"
"Today is the sixteenth!" Alexander replies.
"The moon is fullest on the fifteenth! If we knew we should get off work early, we could sit by the window on the second floor and enjoy the moon while eating mooncakes!" Evelyn says dreamily.
"August fifteenth hasn't arrived yet!" Alexander answers while holding a cigarette.
"Let's drink tea and enjoy the moon at the same time!"
"Tea at night will cause insomnia!"
"Then you can drink boiled water, and I'll have tea!" Evelyn turns her head and glances at Alexander.
He's deliberately arguing with her!
"Stubborn girl!" Alexander reaches out to pinch Evelyn's cheek and says.
Evelyn immediately laughs, runs to Alexander, wraps her arms around his waist, and says, "Don't you think it's romantic to enjoy the night scenery while drinking tea and snacks under such a beautiful moon?"
"It's not romantic at all!" Alexander says deliberately.
"Oh!" Evelyn releases her hand in disappointment and answers with a dull voice.
She feels like she doesn't want to say another word.
"But if there's a noisy wife around, it's another matter!" Alexander hugs Evelyn and adds.
"Hate, you're the noisy one!" Evelyn can't help laughing.
"Sing a song for me to listen to!"
"What do you want me to sing?"
"Whatever you sing, I'll listen to!"
"Really?"
"Yes!"
So Evelyn takes a deep breath, stands at attention, puts her hands together, and begins to sing—
"The half moon climbed up, yilala, climbed up—"
Alexander is stunned for a moment, and the next second he laughs. He reaches out to touch Evelyn's head, and Evelyn runs away with a smile.
Then she stands in front and looks at Alexander with a provocative smile.
Alexander looks at Evelyn, who is laughing and crying like a child.
His wife, in fact, is just a child!
She doesn't want to disclose the relationship between them, just because she is young and embarrassed.
After returning to Sterling Manor, Evelyn is about to go to the leisure room and continue writing her review.
After passing through the living room on the second floor, she sees her favorite desserts on the tea table, and a pot of fruit tea is boiling on an alcohol stove.
Alexander is not there.
Evelyn looks around for a long time and goes to eat a piece of dessert secretly.
She feels like a thief.
After swallowing it, she stands up and yells, "Alexander, Alexander—"
No one answers.
Evelyn mutters, "Where did you go? If you don't come out, I'll eat everything!"
Then she sits down on the sofa and pours herself a small cup of fruit tea, drinking fruit tea and eating dessert.
After a while, she still doesn't see Alexander's figure.
Evelyn feels a little strange.
She knocks on the door of Alexander's study, but no one responds. She pushes the door open, and there is no one inside.
Evelyn has to go downstairs to find Alexander.
Alexander is not on the first floor either.
Alexander comes back from the main house and sees Evelyn sitting on the steps in front of Sterling Manor, her chin propped up, looking like a lost child.
"Child, lost?" Alexander approaches and asks with a smile.
"Yes, I can't find my family!" Evelyn raises her head and says pitifully.
"Uncle, will you take you home?" Alexander sits down beside Evelyn and asks.
"Good, thank you, uncle!" Evelyn cooperates with Alexander's words and smiles.
"You're not afraid that I'll sell you!" Alexander says with a wry smile.
"You are not a bad person!" Evelyn takes Alexander's arm and says with a smile.
"How do you know I'm not a bad person?" Alexander looks down at Evelyn and asks.
"Feeling!"
"Little fool, you'll be sold and help people count money!" Alexander pinches Evelyn's cheek and says with a smile.
"You are a fool, I'm not a fool!" Evelyn pouts and protests.
"Will bad people write 'bad person' on their faces? One word will cheat you out!"
"No way, or you try, one word will cheat me out!" Evelyn says defiantly.
"I can't deceive you. Let's go. I'm in the house!" Alexander says calmly, getting up and pulling Evelyn.
Evelyn responds with an "ah" and obediently follows Alexander into the room.
"Just now, isn't that someone who is not stupid? Can't one word cheat you?" After entering the house, Alexander looks at Evelyn with a smile.
"Ah?" Evelyn turns her head and looks at Alexander puzzledly.
"This will not deceive you into the house?" Alexander touches Evelyn's head and says.
"No, we're not playing games anymore!" Evelyn protests.
"That's just what you think. Your request is one word to cheat you! I also said one word to bring you into the house. You still don't admit that you are a little fool, are you a fool?"
"You are a big fool, a big fool, I won't play with you!" Evelyn says and is about to leave.
But Alexander pulls her back and asks with a smile, "If you don't play with me, who do you want to play with?"
"Anyway, I don't play with big fools, big fools!" Evelyn cries with a smile.
"Just I'm not!" Alexander says, holding up Evelyn.
Evelyn screams and hugs Alexander's neck.
"Where did you go just now?" Evelyn asks Alexander while drinking flower tea.
"Mom, let me go to the main house!" Alexander says.
"No wonder I didn't see anyone when I came out, and you didn't tell me." Evelyn says for a long time.
"You were taking a bath. I'll be back in a moment. At this moment, you miss me?" Alexander asks.
"I didn't think about it!" Evelyn blushes and says.
She turns her head and looks out the window.
It's not about whether she wants to or not. It's about not seeing him when she comes out and not knowing where he's going. She always worries.
"Evelyn, Mom is asking if we are going to have a baby?" Alexander says calmly at this time.
Evelyn is choked by the flower tea in her mouth.
After stopping her cough, she doesn't have the courage to look directly at Alexander. She just lowers her head and mutters, "How did you come back with your mother?"
"I told my mother that I also like children, but my daughter-in-law didn't want to have one!" Alexander sighs.
"Ah?" Evelyn looks up at Alexander and asks in dismay, "Do you really tell Mom like this!"
