Chapter 360

Liam picked up a towel and gently dried Emma's damp hair after washing it, sharing his decision with her.

His movements were tender, as if handling something precious. It made Emma feel incredibly relaxed.

"Will she agree to go?"

Emma couldn't help but ask, a hint of doubt in her voice.

"She's already agreed. It's very beneficial for her condition, and she's always hoped to recover her memories quickly."

"I see."

After hearing Liam's words, Emma stopped questioning. She figured it was for the best for Amelia anyway. Compared to running a coffee shop, recovering her memory was far more important.

The next day, Emma obediently stayed home. She didn't go to the office. After all, whenever she went to the company, Liam wouldn't let her work anyway. It was better to just stay put.

But she hadn't expected Amelia to show up.

Looking at Amelia standing at the door, Emma forced a smile. Amelia looked like a child who had done something wrong, nothing like the arrogant woman she had been yesterday afternoon.

"Sister-in-law, I came today to apologize to you."

Amelia looked at Emma, sincerity clear in her voice. Emma knew she had no choice but to accept the apology.

"It's fine. Yesterday, you didn't know the truth after all. It was only natural for you to react that way."

She said to Amelia with a smile.

"Big brother explained everything to me. I know I was wrong. Tomorrow I'm leaving for Switzerland for two months. I thought you might never forgive me."

Tears seemed to glisten in Amelia's eyes. Emma helplessly grabbed a tissue and handed it to her.

After a while, the two of them seemed to have made peace. Emma still had a knot in her heart, but looking at Amelia's innocent smile, she had to push all her doubts aside for now. Anyway, Amelia was leaving City A tomorrow for Switzerland for two months. Emma knew very well that Liam had arranged all of this because of her.

But Amelia hadn't complained about her, which was rare. Maybe she had finally realized her mistake.

Two hours later, Amelia left.

Emma walked her to the door. Amelia didn't return to Sunrise Manor but went straight to Las Vegas Entertainment City to see Benjamin.

"Amelia, what brings you here?"

Seeing Amelia, Benjamin was surprised. An incredible surprise. He hadn't expected her to forgive him so soon. He thought it would be a long time before she would see him again, and he had even prepared himself for that.

"Second brother, I came to see you. I'm leaving for Switzerland tomorrow. I'm afraid I won't be able to see you for two months."

A sweet smile spread across Amelia's face as she looked at Benjamin, but the smile seemed forced, as if she was barely holding it together.

"Switzerland? Why are you going to Switzerland?"

Benjamin looked puzzled. He didn't understand why she would say that.

"It's all my fault. I angered big brother. But second brother, I really did it for his own good. After all, I didn't know the truth at the time. I just felt that my sister-in-law had betrayed him, and I lashed out in anger. I really didn't mean to..."

As Amelia said this, she suddenly covered her eyes with her hands and began to cry. Benjamin led her to the sofa and listened to her finish the story. A cold glint flashed in his phoenix-like eyes.

"How could big brother be like this? Even if you didn't know the truth at first, your reaction was normal. Besides, there's no smoke without fire. This isn't the first time Emma has been involved in something like this. Who knows if she's really innocent this time? Maybe she's just fooled big brother. Forget it, Amelia. Don't worry about big brother anymore. He only has that woman in his heart now. For her sake, he doesn't even recognize you as his sister. It's infuriating."

As a result, Benjamin's resentment toward Liam grew even stronger.

"Second brother, don't blame big brother. Even though I don't know if it's true or not, big brother still loves me. Although he asked me to go to Switzerland, it was for my illness. He hopes I can recover my memory."

Amelia saw that her second brother was putting all the blame on Liam, so she quickly began to defend him.

Benjamin looked at Amelia with complicated eyes. He knew that no matter what, when it came to their big brother, she would always defend him.

"Amelia, why do you have to suffer like this? Do you really want to go to Switzerland? If you don't want to go, then don't. No one can force you. If big brother wants you to go, you can come directly to me. I'd like to see what he would do to me."

"At first, I was quite resistant. But after thinking about it, I realized it was for the best. Second brother, I just wanted to talk to you today. Because my heart really feels wronged. I don't understand why big brother married his sister-in-law. It's so different from how he used to be. I really miss the old big brother."

Benjamin comforted Amelia for a long time before finally calming her down.

"That woman Emma is so hateful. Don't let me get my hands on her. Once I do, I'll never let her go. I don't care if she's my sister-in-law. Amelia, if I get the chance, I'll help you get your revenge."

As he left, Benjamin promised Amelia.

"That's not good, second brother. If big brother finds out, he'll be very angry. I don't want you to get involved."

"Now that I've figured things out, what's there to be afraid of? Don't worry. If Emma doesn't do anything, fine. But once she does something, I won't let it slide."

When Amelia heard his words, a strange light flickered in her eyes. But by the time Benjamin looked again, it had disappeared.

"Second brother, I still hope you can make up with big brother. When I come back in two months, I hope to see that you've gone home. We're a family after all."

Before Amelia left, her beautiful almond-shaped eyes still held a trace of expectation as she looked at Benjamin.

Benjamin knew in his heart that it was impossible. From the moment he broke ties with his big brother, it was doomed that the two brothers would go their separate ways. He didn't want to live in big brother's shadow anymore. Not until he became stronger.

But he couldn't say these words to Amelia. It would only make her sad.

Benjamin silently apologized to Amelia in his heart, but his answer was vague, leaving her with a glimmer of hope.
