"Fine!" Evelyn had to agree.
She planned to call Amy Harper later to ask about the situation. What was going on?
Even though she had submitted her resignation, it was the end of the month. Even if she left early, there should be a handover period!

Amy Harper said to just wait for her to give birth and invite everyone to the celebration. Now she wasn't feeling well, so it wasn't necessary.
Evelyn laughed. She was eating for two, not doing any heavy work, but she couldn't argue with Amy Harper. She had to say she could invite everyone to dinner another day when they were all free.
After the call, Evelyn felt relieved. Now she could focus on waiting for labor.
Then she thought about going to burn incense with her mother. Evelyn picked out an outfit and went into the bathroom to change.
The temple was built on the hillside. Although the car could drive up the mountain road, there was still a path to walk after getting out. Evelyn accompanied her mother as they slowly walked up.

She thought he was busy at the moment.

"I'll go back in the afternoon. You just go home from work. You don't have to come to pick me up."

"Lily Thompson asked for leave and went back. I'm afraid no one will take care of you!" Alexander said.
