On Sunday, Alexander Sterling took Evelyn Vance to the university library.
Evelyn was a little surprised and asked Alexander how he got a library card.
Alexander said he borrowed it through connections.
Evelyn smiled. "You're not a graduate of this university. How could you have connections here?"
"You're handsome, you can always borrow one!" Alexander said.
Evelyn shook her head with a smile.
But anyway, they swiped their cards and entered the library.
This university claimed to have the most beautiful library in the country, so Evelyn was stunned by the interior design.
She thought to herself that it would be perfect if this library could be moved to her university.
After borrowing a book, Alexander found a desk and sat down.
They sat quietly in the library reading, just like all the other students.
Later, Alexander acted playfully and took a group photo with Evelyn in the library.
When they left the library, Alexander asked Evelyn with a smile, "Do you think I look younger?"
"Yes, you look like a postdoctoral student!" Evelyn nodded and laughed.
Alexander looked at Evelyn with a mix of tears and laughter, then asked, "What do you look like?"
"I look like a gifted girl in the junior class!" Evelyn announced, lifting her chin.
Alexander rubbed Evelyn's head with a smile.
Evelyn was discouraged and protested, "When people are bragging, can you at least praise me?"
"Yes, you are the universe's invincible, talented, and beautiful girl!"
"You know that!" Evelyn laughed.
"I keep up with the times!" Alexander raised an eyebrow in response.
Evelyn's smile grew brighter.
After they left the library, they went to the cafeteria for lunch.
Alexander said Evelyn was treating.
Evelyn asked, "Why am I treating?"
"Because you're still a student, and the school is your territory."
"But I don't go to college here."
"The two universities are sister schools, so they're relatives!"
Evelyn was speechless for a long time.
After getting their food, Evelyn went to the cashier window, paid, and then found a seat with Alexander.
"How does it taste?" Alexander asked Evelyn.
"Not bad!" Evelyn replied with a smile.
"Better than your school!" Alexander commented.
"You've never been to our school!" Evelyn was unconvinced.
"Who said I haven't eaten there!" Alexander said with a smile.
"Then why didn't I meet you!"
"You didn't know me back then!"
"Fine!" Evelyn nodded and accepted Alexander's reasoning.
Alexander kept taking food from Evelyn's plate. "Why do you always eat mine?"
"The dishes you ordered look delicious!"
"Then I'll trade with you!"
"No, just eat like this! You can eat mine!" Alexander replied.
"..." Evelyn was speechless again.
In the end, the two of them finished all the dishes they ordered, just as Evelyn had asked.
Because wasting food was not an option!
So most of it was still eaten by Evelyn, since Alexander couldn't change his picky eating habit.
Out of the cafeteria, Evelyn felt her stomach was round.
"I'm so full, my stomach is growing!" Evelyn sighed.
"It's nothing, the child must be mine!" Alexander echoed.
"What!" Evelyn couldn't help slapping Alexander in protest.
"Didn't you say your stomach is growing? The child must be mine, and I will be responsible!" Alexander said with a smile.
"Hate it, I meant I ate too much!" Evelyn laughed and glared at Alexander.
Finally, they found a stone bench under a tree and sat down to rest.
Alexander asked Evelyn if she felt like a student at this university. Then they talked about campus romance.
Evelyn turned her head and looked at Alexander blankly. After a while, she nodded with a smile, "It really does feel a bit like that!"
"Are you satisfied? You want to be a student of this university, and you still have the wish of puppy love?"
"How do you know I miss this university? Wait, who told you I want to have puppy love?" Evelyn stared at Alexander, stunned, and asked with a smile.
"Isn't that what you told me?" Alexander said with a smile.
"Definitely not me, I didn't want to have puppy love!" Evelyn replied resolutely.
"I think I made a mistake!"
"I'm sure I made a mistake! Oh, I know. Did you always think of puppy love before that you thought it was me?" Evelyn stood up and looked down at Alexander, with an expression of villainous ambition.
"I don't have to think!" Alexander shrugged his shoulders and answered calmly.
"Oh!" Evelyn answered after a long time and sat down.
After a few seconds, she murmured, "You really don't have to think about it. You've been in love for a long time!"
"Hey, how can I smell something sour?"
"Where?" Evelyn sniffed and didn't smell anything strange. She looked at Alexander and asked.
"Isn't someone jealous? How can it be so sour!" Alexander smiled at Evelyn and asked.
Evelyn understood and laughed, scolding Alexander, "I hate it!"
They nestled on the stone bench, chatting about everything under the sun.
Later, Evelyn got sleepy, and she fell asleep leaning on Alexander.
When she woke up, what she saw was the lush green foliage.
It took a while for her to realize they were on campus. At the moment, she was sleeping on a stone bench with Alexander's legs as her pillow.
She sat up, straightened her hair awkwardly, and said in dismay, "I fell asleep again."
"It's nothing, I checked, your wallet and valuables weren't stolen!" Alexander could still joke.
"What's valuable?" Evelyn said with a smile.
"Aren't you valuable?" Alexander looked at her and said with a smile.
"You are the thing!"
"Well, valuables are not things!"
Evelyn was both angry and amused, and in the end, she couldn't say anything to Alexander.
After Evelyn woke up, the two left the school and continued to walk through the streets.
However, there were few of the scenic spots that Evelyn had planned before.
Alexander preferred to walk around with her.
Evelyn also felt that this way was more comfortable and closer to the life of the city.
At dusk, after dinner, Alexander and Evelyn returned to the hotel to check out and go to the airport.
This was Alexander's first business trip with Evelyn. It could also be said that this was the first trip with her in the true sense. Although it was rushed, Evelyn felt very happy and smiled from beginning to end.
Not many photos were taken, but her eyes had seen the beautiful scenery and kept it in her memory.
After the plane took off, Evelyn looked at the night scene of the city below and told Alexander that she would like to come again in the future.
Alexander looked at her with a smile and said yes.
Later, Evelyn found that no matter where she went with Alexander, she would want to go again.
It wasn't because of that city, but because Alexander was the one accompanying her.
Because of one person, she fell in love with countless cities. She was willing to follow him to every corner of the city, even to the ends of the earth.
