"Really? Emilia, you're so sweet to me." After Emma finished speaking, she glanced at Amelia White, who was standing by the window, and called out to her hesitantly.
"You go with Emilia. I'm not going."
Emma felt a wave of relief. She had already noticed that Amelia and Emilia didn't get along. It wasn't obvious to outsiders, but the look in their eyes couldn't lie.
Once Amelia and Emilia left, Liam didn't stay there any longer. After a moment's thought, she figured since she was already here, she might as well go see Liam.
Although she wasn't sure if he'd be surprised to see her, today she came empty-handed and hadn't prepared his favorite wonton noodles.

Liam was furious at first, but seeing her like this, he found it amusing. He led Emma into the inner room of the office. Emma was shocked to see the spacious bedroom and the off-white bed.

"You can sleep here. I'll call you when work is over."
Liam's tone wasn't great, but Emma could still hear the concern in it. Maybe it was more guilt. After all, if he hadn't tossed her around all night, she wouldn't be so sleep-deprived.
So she quickly fell onto the bed and drifted off to sleep. Liam carefully covered her with the quilt and gently closed the door.
Before closing the door, he didn't forget to mute Emma's phone to avoid any disturbances.
When Amelia and Emilia finished getting familiar with the accounting department, they couldn't find Emma. Without thinking, Amelia knew Emma must be in Liam's office. There was nowhere else she could be.
Emilia called Emma. The phone rang for a long time, but no one answered. Since Liam had turned Emma's phone to silent, she couldn't hear it.
Amelia took Emilia directly to Liam's office.
"Brother, why are you alone? Didn't sister-in-law come here?"

"She's sleeping in there."
Liam was reading a document and replied without looking up.
"What?"

Emilia asked cautiously.
"I'm fine. This Emma is really something. Since she promised to take you to the interview, she should have taken you back afterward. Instead, she went to sleep with my brother. She doesn't think of you as a friend."
Amelia couldn't control her temper and spoke arrogantly about Emma.
She was clearly picking a fight. But Emilia didn't argue. Instead, she advised Amelia not to be angry, saying she didn't mind.
