Chapter 6

Sophia Sullivan remained oblivious to the fact that she had become a spectacle.

She twisted Sunny Anderson's other wrist.

A crisp snap echoed through the air.

"Seems you truly don't understand human language."

She grabbed a wine glass from the table.

Without hesitation, she smashed it against the man's head.

Shards of glass and tequila splattered everywhere.

Blood immediately gushed from Sunny's forehead.

Sophia's gaze was icy.

"Clear-headed now? Get lost."

Sunny collapsed to the floor in agony.

Alcohol drenched him, making him look utterly pathetic.

Clutching his wrist, he wailed uncontrollably.

The compound fracture sent waves of excruciating pain through him.

"Damn bitch! You dare lay hands on me?"

He gasped for breath, eyes burning with malice.

"You idiots just standing there? Beat her to death!"

Several burly men closed in.

They advanced on Sophia with ill intent.

"Pissing off Young Master Sunny was your mistake."

"Do you know how many Jade Cloud Hotels we have in A-City?"

"Even if we kill you, the Andersons can buy their way out!"

The men raised liquor bottles, ready to strike.

In a flash,

Sophia moved like lightning.

No one saw her actions clearly.

She snatched a bottle and shattered it.

The jagged glass pressed against Sunny's throat.

"Buy your way out?"

Her lips curled into a chilling smile.

"How much is your worthless life worth then?"

Sunny trembled in terror.

"If you hurt me... Ah! Please spare me!"

The glass already nicked his neck.

One more inch would end him.

Sunny's face turned deathly pale.

This woman was completely insane!

Sophia suddenly released him.

Then kicked him flat onto the floor.

"Clean this up."

She ordered the arriving cruise director.

"Ban all Andersons from boarding permanently."

Sunny saw the director like a drowning man spotting land.

He scrambled to his feet.

"Who the hell are you? The Andersons are cruise partners!"

"Arrest this lunatic now!"

Whispers spread through the crowd.

By the second-floor railing,

Liam Winston frowned deeply.

Chloe Evans murmured, "Will Miss Sullivan be thrown off..."

Her words died in her throat.

The director signaled security to restrain Sunny and his men.

More shocking,

The director bowed ninety degrees to Sophia.

His deference was absolute.

"At once."

Sunny knelt, screaming, "Are you blind?"

The director's voice carried clearly.

"Miss Sullivan is the majority shareholder of Royal Princess Cruise."

"Disrespecting her means opposing the entire vessel!"

Gasps erupted.

No one imagined this woman owned the luxury cruise.

"Impossible... Absolutely impossible!"

Sunny looked like a corpse.

He suddenly kowtowed frantically.

"Forgive me! The Andersons are your partners..."

Sophia's stiletto crushed his fingers.

Grinding them mercilessly.

She slapped her black card across his face.

"You're right."

"Some things money can solve."

Her voice was arctic.

"From today, Royal Princess severs all ties with the Andersons."

The declaration struck like thunder.

Sunny forgot to scream from pain.

Only one thought remained:

Total ruin!

His grandfather had stressed maintaining cruise relations.

Now the deal was dead.

He'd be skinned alive when he returned!

Liam stood frozen by the railing.

His friends' expressions shifted from shock to suspicion.

"Mrs. Winston owns the cruise?"

"Wasn't she an orphan? Where'd she get that money?"

"This ship cost 1.5 billion!"

Someone pointed across the deck.

"Look! Isabella Robinson's here."

"Sophia's walking beside her like equals."

"Maybe she's using the Robinsons' name to show off?"

"Likely. The Robinsons made fortunes in real estate."

Chloe sighed softly.

"How lucky Sophia has such friends."

"I've been abroad three years with no one but you."

Liam scoffed.

"Someone like her can't have real friends."

"She probably tricked Isabella too."

Irritation prickled him.

Chloe was his true love.

Yet Sophia's transformation haunted him tonight.

Suppressing complex emotions,

He took Chloe's hand.

"I'll always be with you."

"You'll have many friends too."

Chloe interlaced their fingers.

Smiling gently.

"Okay."

Suddenly remembering,

"Grandfather wants to see Sophia after his discharge."

"Should we invite her?"

She looked up innocently.

Her words carried hidden meaning.

"I want to apologize to her properly. May we?"
